CLAT Application Form 2023: Last Date, Eligibility, Syllabus

CLAT Application Form 2023: The CLAT 2023 Application Form last date has been extended till Friday, November 18, 2022, 11:59 pm. Earlier the last date of registration for the Common Law Admission Test 2023 (CLAT 2023 Registration) was 13 November 2022. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) announced that the CLAT 2023 exam will be held only once on December 18, 2022, for both UG and PG for the 2023-24 Academic Year. Now the CLAT registration will end on 18 November 2022.

CLAT Application Form

The CLAT Registration Form 2023 is currently open. The candidates eligible must complete the registration at the earliest as the CLAT 2023 Registration ends on November 18, 2022. Eligible candidates can register online and fill out the CLAT 2023 Application Form on the CLAT official website – www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in

CLAT 2023 Registration Last Date

The last date of CLAT Application Form 2023 is November 18, 2022. CLAT Application Form 2023 is available on official NLUs Consortium websites. The registration for CLAT 2023 exam was started on 8 August 2022. If you are eligible and want to pursue law, you can appear in the upcoming CLAT 2023 exam. You must submit your CLAT Application Form 2023 on or before 18 November 2022

CLAT 2023 Registration Fee

As per the NLUs Consortium official websites, CLAT Registration 2023 fees are Rs. 4000 for general category candidates and Rs. 3500 for reserve category candidates. If you are interested in appearing for the CLAT Exam 2023 on 18 December, then you have to complete the registration and fill out the CLAT Application Form 2023 on or before 18 November 2022

CLAT 2023 Exam Date

The Consortium of National Law Universities will conduct the CLAT 2023 Exam on December 18, 2022, in offline mode. To help candidates prepare for the Common Law Admission Test 2023 (CLAT 2023), the consortium has released the sample papers. The CLAT 2023 sample papers are available for all the registered candidates.

CLAT 2023 Syllabus

The CLAT 2023 syllabus includes topics such as general knowledge, current affairs, legal competence, logical reasoning, English, and mathematics.

Legal Education in India

In India, the importance of formal legal education offered at various stages such as undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees is increasing.

There are different types of law degrees at UG and PG levels such as LLB, BA-LLB, BBA-LLB, etc. Similarly, at a higher level, there are different types of specializations in LLM courses such as Cyber Law, Business Law, Criminal Law, Taxation Law, IPR Law, etc.

In India, students can enroll in a 3-year LL.B. course after completing a bachelor’s degree in any field or can pursue a 5-year integrated course of law after passing a senior secondary examination.

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance test for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by 22 national law colleges in India. CLAT is organized by a Consortium made up of leading National Law Universities.

Several affiliated colleges and organizations also use the CLAT exam for admission and/or recruitment.

About Consortium

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) was established on August 19, 2017 with the aim of improving the standard of legal education in the country and serving the justice system through legal education.

The Consortium aspires to facilitate better coordination amongst National Law Universities and National Law Schools to achieve the highest standards of legal education in the country. Till now, Twenty-two National Law Universities have joined the Consortium as members.
